The Fall Food Roundup is an annual event held every fall throughout Louisiana churches to benefit the children of the Louisiana Baptist Children’s home. The donations of food, paper products and money support the Children’s Home during the entire year. The usual procedure for the Food Drive is for teams of Children’s Home volunteers to pick up the goods and monetary donations from churches. This year, however, our Emmanuel Adults on Mission are doing the delivering and invite you along for the ride.
Join us on Thursday, October 2, as we travel to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries in Monroe to deliver food and items collected from Emmanuel members during our Fall Food Roundup. We’ll have a guided tour of their facilities and programs and meet those who will benefit from your generosity. Anyone interested in learning more about this ministry is welcome to attend. Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and Family ministries has been taking care of children and families in need since 1899.
