Terrific Tuesday was full of children and adults doing hands-on missions work between Main Street Mission in Pineville and the Food Bank of Central Louisiana.
There were four 1st-3rd graders and three adults who helped at Pineville’s Main Street Mission. They decorated and packed sack lunches, sang to visitors and helped clean up after the lunch crowd.
A total of eleven 4th-6th graders and five adults worked at the Food Bank. The group packed 70 boxes for needy families, each weighing about 35 pounds.
The groups met back at Emmanuel for lunch and ice cream sandwiches to discuss what they learned from the day’s experience.
