Youth
Emmanuel is a safe and nurturing place for teens to ask questions, explore faith, and have fun within a loving community as they navigate the challenges of information overload, busy schedules, relationships, and developing spiritual beliefs.
Weekly Rhythm
Our rhythms are designed so that students will be grounded in Biblical truth, nurtured by a Christian community, offered opportunities for service, and develop meaningful friendships.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday mornings at 9:30 we have a group of committed adult leaders that lead our youth in Sunday School and discussion to deepen their understanding and application of God's word in their lives.
Sunday Evenings
Sunday evenings from 5-6:30 pm we meet for games, fellowship and sometimes outings like bowling, Escape Room, local parks, etc. Youth parents graciously provide a "snack supper" on these evenings.
Wednesdays
Wednesday nights begin with a community meal at 5pm, then we move to the gym for games at 5:45, followed by Youth Choir at 6:15 and group Bible study at 6:45pm
Fundraisers & Service Opportunities
We serve the community through working at the local food bank, helping clean up storm damage for elderly church members, and caroling around Christmas time. We also host several events throughout the year to raise funds for our trips and activities.
Summer Activities
The highlight of our summer is the trip to Passport Camp for five days and four nights. This camp provides students with opportunities to grow closer to the Lord and put their faith in action through meaningful mission projects all while having fun!
Back at home, fun and fellowship continue with HomeLife as our group spends each Sunday evening at the home of a different church member.
Finally, right before we go back to school, we invite the whole church to learn about everything that happened with the youth in the past year and send off our seniors with a special benediction.
